We’re Kris, Stef, Alicia and Nyle, the Travelling Trowberrys, a two-mum LGBT-family who love to travel and explore our amazing world. Because the world is awesome and the kids deserve to see it.

We’re an LGBT+ family passionate about showing our kids as much of the world as we can. Therefore, we travel as a family as often as possible – whether that’s long-haul to Asia or exploring the UK in our Mazda Bongo camper van, Bethilda!

Kris grew up in Nepal and has lived in Germany and Spain. Stef backpacked around the world post-uni. Travelling is definitely in our DNA and now we are instilling that in our children whenever possible.

Our biggest travel adventure to date has been our worldschooling family gap year which started in April 2024 and ran for 18 months. We visited 16 countries along the way including United States, the Philippines, Japan and Singapore.
